How do network marketers, get customers. Today, I want to share with you some of the shocking truth about how to build your network marketing business that your upline most likely has never told you.
Well, my name is Karin Angelly from KarinAngelly.com. I teach and train network marketers, how to build their business in the online space. And today I want to talk to you about how you can get customers in your business today.

So let’s talk about how you can get customers for your network marketing business, and actually grow a business that you love. Now, listen, I want you to stick around with me till the end, because I have something really special that actually helped me figure out how to do all the things that I’m about to share with you. All right, so let’s get into it because building your network marketing business is not just about getting people to join you in the business, but it’s also about getting customers that actually love the product. There are absolutely people out there that they just want to try these products. And we love those people too.
We need a healthy balance of customers and business builders in order to have a successful business. So please don’t settle yourself short when it comes to actually building a network marketing business full of customers.
Now what I’m going to share with you about how to actually grow your customer base, I never had my upline when I first started in network marketing. I never had my upline tell me a lot of the things that I’m going to share with you right now.
Mostly my upline told me that everybody wanted this product, this product was phenomenal. Everybody is going to need this. So go out there and start talking to people.
The problem with that is that you’re literally just throwing spaghetti against the wall and hoping something sticks. The problem with that is that you start to get burnt out with that method.
So instead of throwing spaghetti against the wall, hoping it sticks. Let’s talk a little bit about having more of a strategy when it comes to building your business online, offline, and actually getting customers.
So what I want you to do when you’re looking to build your network marketing business full of customers is I want you to actually figure out. What is your niche? And what this means is if you’re in a weight loss company, or if you’re in a skincare company or whatever the case may be, who the niche is for that particular product. Or the business even.
So think about who it is that already wants what you have to offer, and then make sure you are actually talking to those specific people, because the problem is. Is that when we just go out and we start talking to people, we’re going to get tons and tons of nos.
And then ultimately we get discouraged. We think this doesn’t work. We think network marketing doesn’t work, and we start to give the industry a bad rap. And that’s really unfortunate.
Whereas if we started with the mindset of thinking through and actually writing down who my target audience was, who that perfect prospect was, and then marketing to that specific prospect where we talk to them where we connect with those people where we find them online, or we find them offline, whatever the case may be when we actually start talking to the right niche of people, we have a lot less headaches and we get a lot less frustrated.
So let’s talk about doing this in the business arena. So if you actually are thinking to yourself like customers are great, but I’m actually doing really great with my customers. I want to build my business side where I can actually recruit people that are doing what I’m doing.
Think about where you can find people that have an entrepreneurial mindset. This can be online. This can be offline. Most of the time. These kinds of people are not going to fall in with friends and family, not going to fall in with strangers.
You most likely are going to need to go either online and find groups of people that have an entrepreneurial desire. This is how you find those people online. You do your research.
You find groups of people, you find places where entrepreneurs hang out. And you connect with those people and you be normal with them. If you want to do it offline, you can go to networking events. This is how you get connected with people in that particular niche that are interested in what you have to offer.
Now, as far as customers are concerned, take a look at your product, ask yourself who actually wants this right now. Right now is the key because yes, there are people out there that this product will probably serve at some point.
But really focus on the people that actually want it right now. And the easiest way to do that is by doing some research, online, finding groups, finding places where these people hang out.
So for instance, if you are in a skin care company, there are tons and tons of places that people that are already interested in skincare hangout online. You can go to forums, you can go to Facebook groups, you can go just about anywhere online.
Do some research and find out where these people hang out and then start marketing to those people. Those are your perfect prospects. That is your niche. That is where you want to hang out.
So you have actually figured out who your target audience is, who your niche is, you know, who you’re talking to, you know, what they want. Now we actually want to figure out how we can solve their problems with our products or service.
This is a crucial piece that comes into building a network marketing business. We have to figure out. How our product can solve someone’s problem, because the problem is actually what gets people to buy from you?
So somebody that is interested in weight loss, the problem is that maybe over the past year or so, they have gained weight and they don’t know where it came from. Your product can actually help solve their problem.
So think about the benefits of your product. Think about if somebody takes this product. How will they actually feel, this is a key point to actually selling your products and getting more customers.
You have to really think about how you can share with people, how they’re going to feel if they actually take this product, are they going to feel amazing about their body? Are they going to feel confident? Are they going to feel like a million bucks?
You’ve got to sell that dream because that’s what it’s all about. Sharing the benefits of weight loss, and feeling better about yourself, about your body, about, just about everything in your life. Because you were able to try this phenomenal product.
So really think about how you can solve your customer’s problem. Think about the people in your niche and how you specifically can solve their problem so that they can do the things that they want to do in life and feel phenomenal.
So how do network marketers get customers now? I will say I’ve seen a lot of things out there when it comes to network marketers, trying to build their business. And a lot of times what I see that just kind of gets to me because I know that this doesn’t work because I’ve tried it in the past too.
I’m going to be honest with you. I’ve done the things. I know what works and what doesn’t. And a lot of times what I see people do in order to get. Customers is they go online. They go on Facebook, they go on Instagram, they go on LinkedIn, whatever the case may be, and they just start spamming the crap out of people.
They literally send messages like this. Product’s amazing. You’ve got to try it. And you have never talked to this person in your entire life. Think about being on the receiving end of some of the messages that you’ve sent in the past.
I know for me, I’ve sent some crazy messages to complete strangers before, and it’s kind of embarrassing when I think about it, because I just didn’t know what I didn’t know. And as I grew my network marketing knowledge, and I actually started getting customers, I realized the thing that works is not spamming a ton of people hoping that something sticks throwing that spaghetti against the wall.
The thing that actually works is if you’re online or offline, is if you actually build a relationship with somebody. Building a relationship with somebody literally comes down to asking questions.
If you are asking questions, You are in the driver’s seat. You actually have control of that conversation. The moment you stop asking questions is the moment that you get stuck in your business.
So start asking questions of your prospects. Get to know them. Whenever I was building my business completely offline, this was my secret weapon. I connected with people and I made sure they felt special.
I asked them about their weekends. I asked them about their kids, their dogs, their craziness, with their health. I wanted to know about them first creating that relationship is truly what is going to help you build your network marketing customer base.
So make sure that you actually consider who it is that you’re talking to. And market to those people, connect with those people. Find the influential people. This is another really big tip that I didn’t learn for a long time in my network marketing business is I started to think about who were the people in my niche that were actually influential.
Those are the people you want to connect with because the influential people can tend to send you more people, send you more customers and send you more business builders. So think about how you can actually connect with influential people within your target market, within your niche, so that you can truly grow a phenomenal network marketing customer base.
